Date/Time- Saturday, April 15th. Action begins at 12:00pm.

Location- Triple S Harley Davidson, Morgantown, WV

Weigh-ins- Begin at 8am. Athletes MUST be present by 10am regardless.

Rules/Safety Briefing- 11:00am. This meeting is mandatory.

Divisions-

Open, Masters if there is demand

Weight Classes- (combined weight)

Lightweight 0-313lbs
Middleweight 314-385lbs
Heavyweight 386+

Awards- Something awesome for winners, medals for silver and bronze

Entry- $70 per couple. Must have USS membership card present or YOU CAN PURCHASE MEMBERSHIPS AT THE SHOW with cash or check. Snail mail entries must be post marked by NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, March 31^st . Late fee $25 and you may not receive a t-shirt. Additional shirts may be available for purchase.

Dueling Dumbbells

• Athletes will have 60sec to alternate and get as many total reps as possible.
• Athletes can begin with either male or female. Once an order is chosen, it must remain.
• Female will perform one single arm press with a single dumbbell. Upon completion, male athlete will lift both dumbbells overhead simultaneously.
• Snatch technique is not legal. Male may press dumbbells overhead one at a time, but both bells must be overhead and locked out simultaneously in order to receive credit.
• Athletes must wait for down signal to receive credit for each lift. To receive a down signal, elbow(s) must be straight, knees locked, posture must upright, feet within shoulder width and motionless, and dumbbell(s) overhead.
• Elbow sleeves & knee sleeves (without buckling mechanisms), a single belt, and wrist wraps are legal.

Axle Ladder

• Fastest time wins. Split times taken.
• 4 axles (super thick 2.25 in diameter) of increasing weight must be deadlifted by the female, and lifted to the shoulders in the “rack” position by the male (clean, continental, etc.)
• Athletes will alternate lifts, and cannot move onto to a heavier axle until both athletes have completed the previous axle.
• Male and female must alternate, but in the case of a missed lift by one member, the other may take a turn on the current axle, and then return control to the other member (however a legit attempt must be made).
• Athletes must wait for down signal to receive credit. To receive a down signal on the deadlift, knees must be locked, posture upright, hips extended, and body motionless. Same rules apply to the clean.
• No straps. Belt and sleeves legal. No suits.

Hammer Hold

• Longest time wins
• Athletes will stand facing each other with arms straight out in front, parallel to the ground whilst grabbing a hammer
• Athletes must keep arms straight. Once either athlete’s arms go pat 5 degrees beyond parallel, they will be eliminated

Harness Truck Pull

• fastest time wins
• Athletes will pull a big ass truck down a 75ft course with no hand rope

Arm Over Arm Pull

• Fastest time wins
• Athletes will perform an arm over arm with his/her own rope

General Rules/Usual Mouser Stuff

• In the event of a tie in the final standings, 1^st place finishes will decide the winner. If there is still a tie, then 2^nd place finishes will be the determinant, and so on. If a tie cannot be broken this way, athletes will compete head to head in one final pole push match to determine the winner.
• Sportsmanship is expected and required. This is the greatest sport in the world, let’s keep it that way.
• There will be a pre-event prayer. No one is expected to participate, so please do not feel obligated. All we ask is to be respectful of those that do or do not wish to participate.
• This is a drug free contest. If you are juiced feel free to come cheer on your buddies but please do not bother to sign up.
• If you have a question, please ask! I would rather take a minute to clarify something than to see someone have a poor showing due to a misunderstanding.
